Q1. How do I report another member to you?
To report another profile to us you can use the report link located on each members profile. The link is located in the buttons directly under the persons main profile photo. Clicking this will give you several options to choose from as to why you are reporting them.
We take all reports very seriously and all reports are looked at by a real person. We do not use bots or algorithms but you must remember this means if you make a false report then we might ban you. Reports made with bad motives such as revenge or jealousy will count as false reporting and this might result in your account / profile being banned.
If you simply have a personal dispute with another member you can choose to block them. This will prevent them from sending you messages. You can do this by following the advice in Q2.
Q2. How do I block another member from contacting me?
It is easy to prevent another member from abusing or harassing you. Please use the block link found on the profile page. The block & report link are found in the buttons under a users profile photo.
Q3. How do I change my email address?
Currently the only way to change your email address is to contact us directly. You can do this by submitting a request from our contact page or email us directly. Please note that we will need to confirm your email address by receiving an email from you so we know you own the new email address. You can contact us using this link.
Q4. How do I change my password?
You can change your password from this link.
Please note you will have to be logged in to change your password. It is also important that you use a unique, safe and strong password so nobody can gain control of your account / profile. Should somebody else get control of your account / profile we will not be able to give you control of your account / profile back to you. You may be held responsible for the actions taken with the use of your account / profile.
Q5. How do I change my username?
We are very sorry but you can not change your username. If you really must change your username and have a very good reason for it you can reach out to us through our contact form but chances are your request will not be granted. The only option you have is to delete your profile, wait for us to completing remove it which is usually around 30 days, then create a new profile.
Q6. How to earn free credits?
You earn credits simply by using the website. Logging in to your profile each day, uploading photos of yourself, sending messages to other users or using the shout rooms all earn you free credits. The more active you are on DatesOfAsia the more credits you will earn. See the below table for examples.

Please note that if you are found to be spamming messages, spamming the shout rooms or uploading photos that go against our photo policy then you may either loose all of your credits or your profile might be closed.
Q7. I received an email that I had a new message but I can not find it?
Sometimes people close their accounts or we might find a reason to ban them. In these situations all correspondence (messages) between this user and other members will be removed. We do this to enable privacy for those who wish to remove their accounts. Privacy is very important to us.
